Services We Offer
PREVOCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Preparing for Independence and Work
-
Our prevocational skills-based camps are funded by the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR), and are designed to improve the ability of our clients to secure competitive employment in the community, improve their ability to live independently and advocate for themselves.
-
During our Amplify Life Works! camps, youth ages 14-22 learn in a classroom setting, participate in hands on activities, and go on community outings to explore career opportunities and meet local employers.
-
We have a great group of local businesses that work with our clients, introduce them to their businesses, and educate them on what they are looking for in a successful employee.
-
Amplify Life Works! Camps are held every season during Washoe County School District breaks, and run for either one or two weeks. Camp is free for all attendees, thanks to BVR funding, but space is limited so call today!
